Love Yourself like God Loves You

Ladies, let’s talk about love - the kind that starts with you. Not the Love and Basketball, Brown Sugar, Love Jones type, not the kind that requires those extra considerate thinking of you texts to validate your worth, but the kind of love that God Himself has already lavished upon you. You see, we can recite all the scriptures about love, but if we don’t truly believe we are worthy of it, we’ll spend our lives chasing what’s already been freely given.

Last month we talked about self-prioritization, making space for YOU in your own life. But what’s the foundation of that? Love. Real, deep, unwavering love. If you don’t love yourself the way God loves you, you’ll keep giving your time, energy, and attention to things that drain you instead of those that nourish you.

So, here’s the challenge for February: Speak to yourself like God speaks about you. Replace “I’m not enough” with “I am a masterpiece” (Ephesians 2:10). Replace “I don’t have time for me” with “My body is a temple” (1 Corinthians 6:19).

And because I love y’all, here’s a simple way to practice self-love today. Take a moment, grab your favorite Lamb and Honey body souffle, and anoint yourself with the love God has for you. You are chosen, cherished, and covered.

Glowing in Grace,

Cryss
