Finding Hope Amidst Frustration
As I sit down to pour out my heart in this mid-month blog, I want to be completely real with you. It's important for me to share my thoughts and emotions as we navigate the path of self-discovery and self-care together. I mean, let's face it, life can be a rollercoaster of challenges that leave us both frustrated and hopeful all at once.
Running Lamb and Honey has been a beautiful journey filled with purpose and passion. Our mission to remind women of their worth, to encourage self-care that goes beyond the surface, and to bridge the gap between self care and soul-care has been a calling that drives me every single day. But, baaaay-beee, it's not always a smooth ride.
Frustration sometimes finds its way into my heart. There are moments when the pressures of running a business, tending to our families, and simply navigating the demands of life can feel overwhelming. It's in these moments that doubt can creep in, and I wonder if I'm doing enough or if I'm truly making an impact. (I had to tell myself right now that it's okay to admit that!) We're all on this journey of growth and grace…TOGETHER.
Yet, even in the midst of frustration, I'm reminded of the anchor that holds me steady – hope. Hope that whispers that every challenge is an opportunity for growth. Hope that tells me that our mission is touching lives, one soul at a time. Hope that assures me that God's plan is greater than any obstacle before us.
In times like these, I find solace in a verse that has been a guiding light in my life: Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Isn't it amazing how these words resonate with our journey? They remind us that even when frustration knocks on our door, God's plans for us are full of hope and purpose. Our journey is one of transformation, and every trial we face is a stepping stone toward a brighter future. (Que Brighter Day by Kirk Franklin.)
So my love, let's lean into prayer and reflection as we navigate these emotions together.
Loving Father, In the midst of frustration, we turn to You for guidance and strength. I thank You for the journey You've placed us on, and we surrender all the worries and doubts into Your capable hands. Help us remember that Your plans are perfect, and that even in the midst of challenges, there is hope, that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Continue to open our hearts to receive the lessons and growth that each moment brings. Grant us the courage to trust in Your promises and to walk forward with unwavering faith. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
As we continue to walk this path together, let's embrace both the frustration and the hope that comes our way. Remember, it's in the tension between the two that we find our true selves and our deepest connection with Father God. And here's the beautiful truth: every step we take, every product we create, and every moment we share is a part of a much bigger picture.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with Lamb and Honey. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. Your support, your love, and your commitment to self-care and soul-care mean the world to me. Let's keep moving forward, hand in hand, reminding each other that we are worthy of love, care, and boundless hope.
All My Love,
