Do You See What God Sees?
Heeeey!
The other day, I was wrapping up a conversation with a friend when I had a sudden realization. How often do we stand in front of the mirror and zero in on our imperfections? We notice a blemish here, a wrinkle there, maybe a stretch mark somewhere. It's so easy to get caught up in these little details. But then I remembered something important: God sees us differently.
In Psalms 139:14, we're reminded, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." God created each of us uniquely, with intentional care and love. Every feature, every detail of who we are, is a testament to His artistry. Imagine what would happen if we shifted our words and thoughts and started each day with a moment of gratitude. Thank God for the gift of another day and for the bodies we inhabit. As you cleanse your face and body, imagine washing away not just impurities but also the doubts and fears that cloud your self-image. Let the water be a symbol of renewal and rebirth, similar to the spiritual cleansing we experience through faith.
When you apply your body souffle, speak affirmations rooted in scripture: "I am fearfully and wonderfully made," "My beauty radiates from within," "I am loved and cherished by God." These affirmations can reinforce your worth and help you internalize the eternal love God has for you.
This journey was not meant to be traveled alone. Whether through online forums, social media, or in-person gatherings, we can encourage one another to see the beauty in ourselves and each other. Sharing tips, favorite products, and personal stories can create a sense of connection and belonging. For those who may not share our faith, the message of self-love and care is universal. By showing others how to see themselves through a lens of love and grace, we can inspire them to start their own journey of self-discovery and affirmation.
Allow your inner light to shine through, illuminating the world with the beauty and grace that God has bestowed upon you. Embrace your daily walk with confidence, boldness, and a radiant glow that reflects the infinite love of Abba.
Love you to Life...
